Welcome to the India section of my slideshow gallery.

This section is devoted to my photographic work with images from recent road and train travel in Northern India.

From bustling Delhi to the foothills of the Himalayas, my journey included Shimla, Pragpur Heritage Village, the Tibetan refuge of Dharamshala then into the Punjab and the Holy City of Amritsar with its incredible Golden Temple.
From there I experienced the impressive sunset ceremony of ‘Beating the Retreat performed by the Indian Army at the Pakistan border.

It is easy to understand how travellers over the years have fallen in love with such a country and I hope my photographs do justice to captivating and diverse India.
